My wife is very modest...she didn't mention what she made for dinner on Saturday night. Let me extrapolate. The salad consisted of arugula (did I spell that right?), real chunks of parmesan cheese, fennel and a homemade dressing. Fresh Carolina shrimp, tossed in spaghetti with garlic cream sauce was the main course. And lastly, but not least, a flourless chocolate cake with homemade whipped cream. Yes, I have landed with my bum in the butter. Anna loves to cook and it was fun to see her in her element.
She has also been very understanding of world cup fever, particularly when I have the main tv and the kitchen tv tuned into the soccer game, that way if I go to the kitchen for a snack, I don't miss any of the action. Long live the beautiful game! If you know who Eric Cantona is, or enjoy the world cup, check out the Nike football commercials, they're awesome.

Seriously, how could you NOT rave about that meal! It was a real treat. You wife is a great hostess!
Mmmmmm...thanks for describing the menu. I can't wait to come over again. Or maybe I can talk Anna into cooking for me at my house???
