sunday is

- Returning from a much-needed three-day weekend at the beach.

- Driving home in a rare, rip-roaring wind storm. "Reminds me of Cape Town," Ben says wistfully. The decidedly NON-aerodynamic Element was only just up to the task of 45 mph winds . Only just.

- Deciding where to go for an upcoming holiday to celebrate my major birthday. Nevis. St. Lucia. Turks and Caicos. Barbados. Isla Mujeras. Or the Mayan Riviera. I suspect we can't go wrong.

- Extending the weekend with a late dinner. Herb-crusted steaks with sherry-mushroom sauce. Fig balsamic broccolini. Mashed potatoes. South African cabernet-merlot.

- Half-watching the Grammys. Aretha Franklin just led a crazy good gospel number. The Grammys is praising Jesus?! Yes, indeed. (Leslie, tell me you saw this.)

- And otherwise delaying the start of the week.

I want to know what happened after Vincent stalled the car.
