Easter weekend

Hello,

It's Easter Sunday and Summer has arrived in North Carolina, in other words it's hot and humid. What happened to Spring? Perhaps it will cool down again, but I highly doubt it. The next four months are going to be sticky and there's no way around it. Not that humid is necesarily bad, it does produce some wonderfully explosive thunderstorms, driving rain and that fresh wet soil smell. I also like the way steam rises off the tarmac after a good soaking. Cool drinks and late evenings on the porch are nice too.

We are off to Steve, Carlye and Dash's today to celebrate Easter and our nephews birthday. He is one today!
