From time to time, we buy the New York Times on Sunday afternoons. For $5.00, you get five inches thick of great writing and an excuse to daydream about living in Manhattan. Hands down, one of the best newspapers on the planet.
So, we decided to treat ourselves to a subscription. We've been talking about this for a while now, but we finally signed ourselves up a few weeks ago.
So, lucky us, we now have a New York Times waiting in our driveway every Sunday morning. The world at our door.
This morning, we read it in bed over coffee and tea. Ben went straight for Arts and Leisure, while I read the main news from cover to cover out of sheer discipline...before diving straight into the Style section.
Oh. I never thought a newspaper would make me so happy.
Next up, the Travel section.

Now we know why you left Sun brunch so quick! Ah, newspapers. What pleasure and joy (despite the content at times)
