what's really happening

What's really happening for us, what you do not tell people for quite some time, what you cannot even consider blogging about for a good while, what you think of first when people ask you how you're doing...

We're having a baby.

Sigh of relief. Now I can tell you what's really going on around here, which is: I'm 14 weeks pregnant. We are excited. And astounded. And eager. And just the right amount of nervous.

Now, this has several indications. One, I am currently buttoning my pants with a rubber band. Two, I don't look quite pregnant; I just look like I've been eating too many Chick-Fil-A sandwiches. Three, I've been eating too many Chick-Fil-A sandwiches. Because they taste like a miracle in my mouth. And Four, I am famished ALL of the time. You can't even imagine.

Otherwise, I'm feeling really good. And I'm feeling really lucky that I can say that.

So, that's the news! We're due October 1st, and we heard happy heartbeats just two weeks ago, which was amazing. And in a little time yet, we will have our ultrasound. So, from here on out, we will keep you updated on all things Babykins Adlard.

Love,

Anna (and Ben)
